Hello!

I'm Chanel, creator of Washoe Wild Soap Co. I live in Nevada, with my wonderful husband, our two adventurous boys, eight goats, fifteen chickens, two ducks, our cat Finn, our lab Elko, and our beloved senior mini dachshund, Diesel. From a young age, I've had a profound love for animals, which continued through my career working with them until motherhood took center stage, and raising our children became my top priority.

After having our boys, I immersed myself in researching the ingredients that were not only entering our babies' bodies but also being applied to their skin. As I read ingredient labels and discovered the numerous harmful chemicals and additives in commercial products, my desire to create my own became increasingly important. Emphasizing self-sufficiency and prioritizing homemade whole foods, hunting, and gardening are integral parts of our lives, so it was only natural for me to raise goats for milk and craft non-toxic products for our family, which has truly become a passion of mine.

From the outset, it has been essential for me to be actively involved in every aspect of our goat's care, ensuring that I know precisely what goes into their bodies. This commitment guarantees that they are happy, holistically raised, and allows us to produce the purest products for our family and now, for others as well. Handcrafting my soaps has brought me immense joy, and it is a pursuit I am truly passionate about. From start to finish, every aspect of our soaps is carefully handcrafted in small batches, ensuring that each element is made with love from start to finish.
